A collection of works by Richard Grune, depicting his harrowing experiences during his imprisonment in the Flossenbürg concentration camp.

The collection includes multiple illustrations that capture the brutality, despair, and resilience he witnessed during his years of captivity. These works were originally published in 1947 by Keune Publishing, but, despite their historical significance and emotional depth, they attracted little public attention at the time.

The lack of interest reflected the broader reluctance in post-war society to confront the horrors of the Nazi era, particularly the persecution of marginalized groups like homosexuals.
