Vincent Figgins

Vincent Figgins was an important type founder of the late 18th and early 19th century in London England. He (and his son) are known for their modern (sans-serif) and fat faces in very large typesizes. Figgins established his own type foundry in 1792 after an apprenticeship with Joseph Jackson.
