LEF covers from 1923 and 1924. LEF was the journal of the left front of artists (LEF. Zhurnal levogo fronta iskusstv) and edited by Vladimir Mayakovsky and Osip Brik. Rodchenko is often credited with the cover designs, although the Museum of Modern Art credits both Rodchenko and Stepanova (and on issue 2 also Popova). The magazine was printed from 1923 until 1925 and then continued as Novyi LEF (New LEF).
