The magazine veshch / objet / gegenstand (object) is one of a whole host of avant-garde magazines. MoMA writes: dedicated to produced in 1922 by El Lissitzky and the writer Ilya Ehrenburg in Berlin. The journal (published in German, Russian and French) highlighted a moment of cultural exchange between the Russian avant-garde and the West, and gave voice to the aesthetic and political program of the Constructivist and Suprematist art movements.
