cmThis carpet (shown here is a detail of a section of the carpet) was woven especially for the first bauhaus exhibition held in 1923 (in Weimar), and demonstrated Gunta Stölzl’s abilities as a textile designer. The complex carpet was originally 6 meters in length (now 5,05m), and made of wool on a hemp base.
