Poster for the Zero, Ten exhibition of paintings in St. Petersburg. The poster was designed by Ivan A. Puni (also an avant garde painter) who was key in organizing the exhibition. The main artists were Vladimir Tatlin and Malevich but 14 artists exhibited in total. The exhibition was held from December 1915 until January of 1916, and was accompanied by a battle between the cubo-futurists (Tatlin etc.) and the newly formed suprematist movement around Malevich.
